QuickSell ("we", "our", or "us") helps you price and sell second-hand items. This Privacy Policy explains what information the QuickSell Android app collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with.
1. Information We Collect
- Photos and details you provide: The photos you take with the camera (or choose from your gallery) and any text you type about the item (for example brand, shop price, age or faults). They are sent to our AI price service to estimate a price. We do not keep them on our servers after the estimate is made.
- Camera access: The app asks for permission to use the camera only to take photos of the items you want to price. Camera images are not recorded or sent anywhere except when you press the button to get a price. You can turn the permission off at any time in your phone settings.
- Device identifier: A randomly generated anonymous ID stored on your device. It is used to keep your scan balance. It is not linked to your name or identity.
- Purchases: When you buy scans or QuickSell Pro, Google Play handles the payment. We receive a purchase confirmation (product and purchase token) so we can add your scans or Pro. We never receive your payment details.
- Advertising ID and ad data: If you choose to watch a rewarded ad for a free scan, Google AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show ads. In the European Economic Area, the UK and some other places you are first asked for your choice in a consent form from Google. You can change your choice in the app under Settings, Ad privacy choices, and reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
- Usage counters: We count how often certain actions happen in the app (for example how many scans were started on a given day). These are anonymous daily totals and are not linked to you.
- Error reports: If the app has a problem, anonymous error information may be sent to Sentry so we can fix it.
2. How We Use Information
- To give you AI price estimates and a listing text for items you photograph
- To manage your free, ad-supported and paid scans and your Pro status
- To show rewarded ads (only when you choose to watch one)
- To improve the app, fix errors and prevent abuse

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the services that make the app work:
4. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your scan history, saved photos (for your most recent items), settings and preferences are stored on your device only. When you open the Sell step, the app can save your item photos to a QuickSell album in your phone gallery so you can add them to a listing. Your scan balance and Pro status are stored on our Cloudflare servers, tied to your anonymous device ID, and removed after about 12 months without use.
5. Children
QuickSell is not directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum age set by the law of your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Your Rights
You can clear the local data of the app at any time in your phone settings, or by uninstalling it. You can withdraw your ad consent in the app. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data and to object to its use. Because we hold only an anonymous ID and a scan balance, to request deletion of your server-side data please contact us.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including HTTPS encryption, signed requests and rate limiting, to protect your data.
